Tutor information is taken from the Module Catalogue

- B. Sklar,Digital communications : fundamentals and applications, 2nd Ed., Prentice Hall, 2001.

- I. A. Glover and P. M. Grant, Digital communications, 3rd Ed., Pearson Education Limited, 2010.

- G. Keiser, Optical Fiber Communications, 3rd Ed., McGraw-Hill Inc., 2000.

The first book is the main textbook that we will refer to during the course. It has some good overlap with the second book, in whch case, either of them can be used for further reading. The last book covers some of the materials that will be taught when we get to the third part of the module on optical communications.

In each problem sheet, I will specify a recommended reading list from either of the above references. That is to help you solidify and learn more about the topics covered during the lectures.
