The best books for this course are:

- Adams and Essex:
*Calculus, A Complete Course,*Pearson, 2013.

Earlier editions are just as useful. - Blank and Krantz: Calculus: single-variable, Key Curriculum Press, 2008.

Does not cover multivariable calculus. - Hass, Weir, Thomas:
*University calculus (Alternate Edition)*, Pearson, 2008.

The standard edition is also useful, as is the slightly longer Thomas' Calculus (same authors). - Stewart: Calculus, Brooks/Cole CENGAGE Learning (7th edition 2012, or 8th edition 2016).

Other useful resources will be:

- Spivak: Calculus, 3rd edition, Cambridge University Press, 2006.

A more advanced text, but with an emphasis on understanding. Earlier editions are also useful. - Stroud: Engineering Mathematics, 6th edition, Palgrave MacMillan, 2007.

Not a complete text, but full of simple worked examples. The more compact earlier editions are just as useful.
