There will be plenty of reading materials made available throughout this course (Prof Iyiola Solanke has permitted me to distribute chapters of her textbook as PDFs), but you may wish to purchase an additional textbook if you would prefer a different style. Craig and De Burca's text is highly detailed, but might be a little daunting. Horspool, Humphreys, and Wells-Greco's textbook is much easier to read, but doesn't have quite as much detail as Craig and De Burca. You don't get extra marks for making things difficult for yourself though, so have a look at the textbooks, and choose whichever style is most appealing to you.
You needn't buy a Statute book (all the Treaties and law is available online), but I find it useful to have a physical copy around at all times.
